Kenneth H. “Kenny” Ridgway, age 75, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 5:00 A.M. on Sunday, March 21, 2010, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio, where he was admitted on Friday, March 12. Mr. Ridgway was employed as a journeyman electrician with Ridgway Brothers Electric until his retirement. He enjoyed trapshooting, fishing and playing cards and was a member of the NRA and the ATA (Amateur Trapshooting Association). Kenneth H. Ridgway was born on June 4, 1934, in Williams Center, Ohio, the son of Charles Fremont and Audrey Luella (Connolly) Ridgway. He married Janice M. Faunce on July 9, 1955, in Montpelier, Ohio, and she survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Kathy Ellen (Jim) Tingley, of Arlington, Texas, one son, Michael Gene (Christina) Ridgway, of Bryan, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, Marion Ridgway, of Stryker, Ohio, and two brothers, Reginald “Slim” Ridgway and Paul (Victoria) Ridgway, both of Bryan. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Mark S. Ridgway, in October 2009, and two brothers, Gerald and Freddie. Services for Kenneth H. “Kenny” Ridgway will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at 1:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with Donald Laukhuf officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. and on Wednesday, March 24, 2010, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Memorials in the name of Kenneth H. “Kenny” Ridgway may be given to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
