Dorothy A. Ester, age 80, formerly of Ney, Ohio, died at 4:05 P.M. on Friday, March 19, 2010, at Bryan Care and Rehabilitation Center in Bryan, Ohio, where she was a resident. A beloved mother, grandmother and sister, she was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church near Ney. Dorothy Ann Ester was born on August 16, 1929, in Evansville, Indiana, the daughter of James and Sarah (Rucker) Pike. She married Calvin L. Ester on April 10, 1948, in Montpelier, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on March 11, 1994. Mrs. Ester is survived by three daughters, Cheryl (Tom) Wonderly, of Bryan, Deb (Ed) Koch, of Ney, Ohio, and Jackie (Bly) Golladay, of Cape Coral, Florida, a son, Kevin (Chris) Ester, also of Ney, a brother, James Pike, of Bryan, twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one son, Mick Ester, in 1995. Visitation for Dorothy Ann Ester will be on Monday, March 22, 2010, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Isidore Catholic Church near Ney with Father James Halleron officiating. Interment will follow in Marysdale Catholic Cemetery. Memorials in the name of Dorothy Ann Ester may be given to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers Hospital Hospice and Home Health.
