Mildred O. Roebuck

Mildred O. Roebuck, age 75, of West Unity, Ohio, died at 1:54 A.M. on Monday, March 16, 2010, at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home, where she was a resident. She was the widow of Richard Roebuck and retired from Lenier of West Unity, Ohio. Mildred O. Roebuck was born on October 7, 1934, in Jackson, Michigan, the daughter of Charles and Edith Opal (Underwood) Whitney. She is survived by three sons, Daniel (Tami) Payne, of West Unity, Richard Payne, of Bryan, J.R. (Pam) Payne, of Wichita Falls, Texas, a daughter, Kathy (Joe) Snyder, also of Wichita Falls, thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Bill Fitch, of Bryan, and Albert Whitney, of Brightman, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Cindy Cole, and two brothers, Dale and Gary Whitney. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 19, 2010, at 1:00 P.M. in the Living Hope Free Methodist Church, 603 West Jackson Street, West Unity, with Pastor Dave Mathis officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery near Jackson, Michigan.
