View Video Tribute Clifford C. Coil, age 78, a former resident of Edgerton, Ohio, who also resided for fourteen years in Florida and had recently moved to Bryan, Ohio, from Lima, Ohio, where they had lived the past six years, died at 9:40 a.m. on May 29, 2006, in Community Hospitals & Wellness Centers- Bryan after an extended illness. Mr. Coil retired as a maintenance supervisor with Ohio Decorative Products and also worked for Lutterbein Lumber Company in Edgerton for ten years as a construction supervisor. He was a member of Westside United Methodist Church in Lima, Ohio, and was a World War II veteran, having served with the Army Air Corps. Clifford C. Coil was born in Spencerville, Ohio, on June 11, 1927, the son of Elmer T. and Bertha L. (Seslar) Coil. He married Wanda L. Thompson on October 19, 1947, in Weston, Michigan, and she survives. Also surviving are one son, Terry W. (Vicki) Coil, Orlando, Florida, one daughter, Mrs. Larry (Beth) Sanders, Edgerton, one grandson, Ryan (Carrie) Sanders, DeWitt, Michigan, one granddaughter, Joely Coil, Orlando, and one great-grandson, Ethan Paul Sanders. He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. Services for Clifford C. Coil will be on Thursday, June 1, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. in Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio, with Pastor Dwight Bowers officiating. Grave side services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Hartford Cemetery, Spencerville, Ohio. There will be no visitation. Memorials in the name of Clifford C. Coil may be given to the Williams County Veterans Building.
