View Video Tribute Annette E. Finken, 86 years, of Bryan, died on Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Bryan, Ohio. Mrs. Finken was a telephone operator for General Telephone for 28 years, retiring on April 30, 1981. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church for over fifty years. She was also a member of the Bryan VFW Post 2489 Ladies Auxiliary and was one of the original Senior Sailors at Harborside Healthcare. She was also a volunteer at the Bryan Senior Center for many years. Annette E. Finken was born on March 20, 1920, in Bryan, the daughter of Edward and Gladys (Stacey) Fritch. She married Robert Finken on July 4, 1941, in Hicksville, Ohio, and he preceded her in death in April 1976. Surviving are her daughter, Nancy Bible, of Bryan, Ohio, and a granddaughter, Sheila (Dean) Stuckey, of West Unity, Ohio. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Anita Fritch, her twin, and Marian Kline, and one brother, Lane Francis Fritch. Funeral services for Annette E. Finken will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2006, in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with Pastor Dwight Bowers officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan, Ohio. Visitation for Mrs. Finken will be held on Friday, June 2, 2006, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Memorials in the name of Annette E. Finken may be given to Wesley United Methodist Church or to the Bryan Senior Center.
