View Video Tribute Kathleen M. (Welsh) Schindler, 56, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 3:56 a.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2006, in the emergency room of Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Bryan, Ohio. Kathleen was an assistant manager for K-Mart for nine years. She was an assistant manager for Wal*Mart in Napoleon and Wauseon for two years. She was a former member of St. John’s Catholic Church, Defiance, Ohio. Kathleen M. Schindler was born on June 28, 1949, in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of Richard and Anne (Clark) Welsh. She married Robert J. Schindler, Sr. on December 31, 1985, in Defiance, Ohio, and he survives. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Schindler is survived by four children, Tina Root, of Edgerton, Thomas Root II, of Bryan, Tammy (Noe) Hernandez, of Pioneer, and Theresa L. Schindler, of Edgerton; three grandchildren, Bethany, Chaz and Hollie Hernandez; a sister, Patricia (Harvey) Bell, of Little Rock, Arkansas; five brothers, John (Jan) Welsh, of Orlando, Florida, Michael (Janie) Welsh, of Arkansas, Daniel Welsh, of Orlando, Florida, Francis Welsh, of Arizona, and Terry Welsh, of California. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Richard Welsh. Funeral services for Kathleen M. Schindler will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 10, 2006, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bryan, Ohio, with Father Charles Ritter officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan. Visitation for Mrs. Schindler will be held on Sunday, April 9, 2006, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, with a scripture service to be held at 8:15 p.m. on Sunday. Memorials in the name of Kathleen M. Schindler may be given to the family.
