Michael L. Worstell, 61 years, of Bryan, Ohio, and formerly of Nettle Lake and Pioneer, died on Friday, May 26, 2006, in his residence with his family at his side. Mike was a Marine Corps. Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver for 34 years, driving as an owner-operator for Universal AM/CAN. He also drove for MTS and Matlack trucking. He was a member of the Bryan VFW Post 2489, Grand Rapids American Legion Post 232 and attended Nettle Lake United Brethren Church. Michael L. Worstell was born on August 1, 1944, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Forrest and Dolores I. (Worstell) Chandler. He married Lois A. Silverwood on November 6, 2000, in Royal Oak, Indiana, and she survives. In addition to his wife, Mr. Worstell is survived by his son, Mark (Jo Ann) Worstell, of Montpelier and two grandchildren, Tiffany and Tyler Worstell. Funeral services for Michael L. Worstell will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2006, in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with Pastor Michael Wilder officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan, with military grave side services conducted by Bryan V.F.W. Post 2489. Visitation for Mr. Worstell will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2006, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Memorials in the name of Michael L. Worstell may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.
