View Video Tribute Rodney L. Sindel, age 42, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 3:40 a.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2006, in Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana, from injuries sustained in a farm accident. A 1982 graduate of Edgerton High School, Mr. Sindel was a self-employed farmer and was employed as a salesman with Archbold Equipment, Archbold, Ohio, for the last ten years. He was a member of West Milford Church of Christ, rural Hicksville, Ohio, and currently attended Northwest Christian Church, Edon, Ohio. His other memberships included the Ohio Cattlemen Association and Farm Bureau. He was an F.F.A. alumni and a 4-H advisor for the Little Buckeyes 4-H Club. Rodney L. Sindel was born in Hicksville, Ohio, on January 25, 1964, the son of Jack K. and Melanie M. (Morrison) Sindel. He married Julia A. Blair on March 21, 1986, in Hicksville, Ohio, and she survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Stephanie Marie Sindel and Stacey Michelle Sindel, and one son, Scott Mitchell Sindel, all of Edgerton, his mother of Edgerton, one niece, and three nephews, and his father- and mother-in-law, Ronald and Donna Blair, of Edgerton. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Randy Sindel. Services for Rodney L. Sindel will be on Thursday, May 25, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at Life Changing Realities Fellowship, Edgerton, Ohio, with Pastor Dan Gallagher officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton, Ohio. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, and after 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24. Memorials in the name of Rodney L. Sindel may be given to the family or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
