Donna L. Paxton, age 80, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 2:13 A.M. on Monday, February 8, 2010, in Bryan Care and Rehabilitation Center, where she was a resident. Mrs. Paxton was employed in accounts receivable at Ohio Art Company in Bryan and retired with over thirty years of service. She was a former member of the Bryan Eagles, Aerie #2233 Auxiliary, the Bryan Moose Lodge #1064, Bryan VFW #2489 Auxiliary and the Am-Vets Post #54 auxiliary. She was also an avid golfer at Suburban Golf Course near Bryan. Donna L. Paxton was born on June 21, 1929, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Clint and Ruth (Weber) Coulon. She was preceded in death by her three husbands, George Smallwood, Cletus “Eddie” Goldsmith, and Marvin Paxton. Mrs. Paxton is survived by her children, Roy (Treasure) Smallwood, of Angola, Indiana, Karen Goldsmith, of Bryan, and Mark (Sherry) Goldsmith, of Archbold, Ohio, four grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, three stepgreat-grandchildren, a sister, Genevieve Bishop, of Bryan, a sister-in-law, Carolyn Coulon, and a brother-in-law, Richard Caulkins, both of Bryan. Preceding her in death in addition to her husbands were three brothers and sisters. Visitation for Donna L. Paxton will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2010, from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2010, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with Pastor Mitch Maxted officiating. Memorials in the name of Donna L. Paxton may be given to the Solana Unit at Bryan Care and Rehabilitation Center.
