Mary Louise Studer, age 81, of Coldwater, Michigan, died at 5:40 A.M. on Tuesday, December 2, 2009, at Cameron Memorial Hospital in Angola, Indiana, where she was a patient, after an extended illness. Mrs. Studer was a homemaker and loved making crafts, ceramics and reading. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Coldwater, Michigan, was a former member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Edgerton, and was a member of the Rosary Altar Society at St. Mary’s. Mary Louise Studer was born on April 12, 1928, in Butler, Indiana, the daughter of Harold and Dessie (Green) Dohner. She married John F. Studer on July 26, 1947, in Edgerton, Ohio, and he survives. She is also survived by her children, JoAnn (John) Armbruster, of Edon, Ohio, Kevin (Suzie) Studer, of Edgerton, Ohio, Jean Studer, of Coldwater, Michigan, Christine (Roland) Rohdy, of Hicksville, Ohio, and Darrell (Stephanie) Studer, of Quincey, Michigan, sixteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, James and Phillip Studer, three brothers, Gordon, Norman and Garman Dohner, and two sisters, Garland Blair and Patricia Richards. Visitation for Mary Louise Studer will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2009, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio. Recitation of the rosary will be at 8:15 P.M. on Sunday. Services will be held on Monday, December 7, at 11:00 A.M. in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Coldwater, Michigan, with Father Dan Doctor officiating. Visitation will be held in the church one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Edgerton, Ohio. Memorials for Mary L. Studer may be given to St. Mary’s Catholic School in Edgerton.
