View Video Tribute Doris I. Krill, age 88, of Hicksville, Ohio, and a former lifelong resident of Edgerton, Ohio, and Blakeslee, Ohio, died at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2006, in her residence. Mrs. Krill was a clerk for the former Mast’s Department Store, Edgerton, and also a machinist for the former Syncrotech in Edgerton. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Blakeslee, and also St. Mary Catholic Church, Edgerton. Doris I. Krill was born on January 23, 1918, in Farmer, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Florence (Foster) Mavis. She married Marnan Welly on January 23, 1940, and he preceded her in death on November 28, 1967. She then married Omar N. Goebel on January 17, 1972, and he preceded her in death on June 17, 1987. She then married Kenny Krill on January 5, 1990, and he also preceded her in death on July 15, 2000. Surviving are her three daughters, Mary Ellen Haller of Garrett, Indiana, Colleen (Bob) Oess, of Cambridge, Ohio, and Constance (Don Pahl) Welly, of Edgerton, ten grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Louise Kaiser, and two sisters, Ilo Psurny and Mary Reader. Services for Doris I. Krill will be held on Friday, March 10, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary Catholic Church in Edgerton, Ohio, with Father Stephen Schroeder officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Edgerton, Ohio. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton from 3-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2006, with the Rosary to be recited at 8:15 p.m. Memorials in the name of Doris I. Krill may be given to Hospice-The Caring Way of Defiance County.
