Marcella Wolbert

Marcella “Marcy” Wolbert, age 62, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 2:05 A.M. on Friday, January 22, 2010, in her residence following a 14-month battle with cancer. Mrs. Wolbert was employed at C. K. Technologies in Montpelier, Ohio, until retiring due to disability. Prior to that she worked for over twenty years at Fayette Tubular Products, Fayette, Ohio. She devoted her life to her husband, children, grandchildren and friends and enjoyed being outdoors hiking, walking and motorcycle riding. Marcella Wolbert was born on July 11, 1947, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Elbert and Viola Doyle. She married Ronald P. Wolbert on June 12, 1983, in Pioneer, Ohio, and he survives. Surviving in addition to her husband are one son, Matthew (Darlene) Martin, of Bryan, three daughters, Tia (Larry) Sanborn, of Clinton, Michigan, Carol (Bob) McGinley, of Alvordton, Ohio, and Annette (Wayne) Schemeley, of Laurel Lake, New Jersey, thirteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her siblings, Michael Doyle, of London, Kentucky, James (Mae) Doyle, of Detroit, Michigan, Marsha (William) Carlotta and Jeryl (Denise) McNamara, both of Hamilton, Ohio, Tony Doyle, Lela (James) McFadden, and Teresa (Scott) Day, all of Corbin, Kentucky, Darryl (Cindy) McNamara, of Fayette, Ohio, and Dale (Shirley) McNamara, of Ross, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, on Sunday, January 24, 2010, from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. and from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. on Monday, January 25, 2010, prior to the service. Services will be held on Monday, January 25, 2010, at 1:30 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with Pastor Cory Shankleton officiating. Interment will follow in Shiffler Cemetery, near Bryan. Memorials in the name of Marcella Wolbert may be given to C.H.W.C. Hospital Hospice & Home Health.
