View Video Tribute Stephen M Shook, 59, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 5:15 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2006, from complications of pulmonary diseases at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio, where he had been a patient since January 24th. Mr. Shook was the owner of Maneval Service, an International Truck dealership in Bryan. He spent his entire career working there, retiring in 2004. He was a veteran of the United States Naval Reserve, with active duty service during the Vietnam Conflict from 1967-1969 on the USS Meeker County. He was a member of the Bryan Parks and Recreation Board, Pulaski Township Zoning Board, Bryan Area Foundation and Faith United Methodist Church, where he served as a Trustee and Financial Steward. Stephen M. Shook was born October 9, 1946, in Bryan, Ohio, the son of Rex W. and Margaret E. (Maneval) Shook. He married Rose E. Stark on May 1, 1971, in Edgerton, Ohio, and she survives. In addition to his wife, Mr. Shook is survived by his mother, Margaret Shook, of Bryan, Ohio, one daughter, Natalie (Kevin) Frampton, of Skokie, Illinois, one son, Nathan (Jocelyn) Shook, of Chicago, Illinois, and a sister, Margo (John) Morgan, of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his father. Services for Stephen M. Shook will be Saturday, February 4, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. in the Faith United Methodist Church in Bryan, Ohio, with Pastors Gary Step and Susan Roads officiating. Interment will be in Shiffler Cemetery with grave side military rites conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2489. Visitation will be after 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3, in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan. In lieu of flowers, memorials for Stephen M. Shook are requested to the LUNGevity Foundation at 4541 N.
