Helen R. Pelland

Helen R. Pelland, age 75, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away peacefully and joined her husband of fifty years and their heavenly father at 8:25 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at Community Health Professionals In-patient Hospice Center in Defiance, Ohio, where she was a patient. Mrs. Pelland was employed by Hayes-Albion in Bryan, Ohio, retiring with twenty-five years of service. She was also a member of Eastland Baptist Church, Bryan Eagles Aerie 2283 and Moose Lodge #1064, of Bryan, Ohio. Helen R. Pelland was born on July 8, 1933, in Vincennes, Indiana, the daughter of George T. and Margaret (Able) Hall. She married Robert O. Pelland on January 30, 1959, and he preceded her in death on November 19, 2008. Surviving are her children, Mary (Kathy) Mosier, of Ludington, Michigan, Dianna Rickman, and Robert E. Pelland, of Altoona, Florida, Bill Pelland, of Bryan, Ohio, Susan Miller, of Montpelier, Ohio, and Georgeann Pelland, of Bryan, Ohio, eighteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, one brother, Ralph Hall, of Hicksville, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews. Also preceding her in death were one sister and two brothers. Private services for Helen R. Pelland will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2009, in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, with Pastor Donna Stutzman officiating. Interment will be in Poplar Ridge Cemetery. Services arrangements are by Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Memorials may be given to Community Health Professionals In-Patient Hospice, Defiance, Ohio.
