Carol Marie Pigmon, age 53, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 9:30 A.M. on Tuesday, January 5, 2010, in her home after a seven-year battle with cancer. Mrs. Pigmon was a supervisor with the Ohio Turnpike. Carol Marie Pigmon was born on March 2, 1956, in Washington, D.C., the daughter of Clarence M. and Rosa May (Fox) Garner. She married Earl Jay Pigmon on October 18, 2006, and he survives. Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Alicia (Jason) Swary-Gruver and Stacy (Dock) Swary-Pigmon, both of Edgerton, three grandchildren, Autumn and Eric Gruver and Dock Pigmon V. Also surviving are her mother, Rosa May Garner, of Asheboro, North Carolina, and two brothers, Donald Garner, of Bear Creek, North Carolina, and Clarence Garner, also of Asheboro. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Garner. Visitation for Carol Marie Pigmon will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2010, from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton. A memorial service will follow at 4:30 P.M. in the funeral home with Pastor Jack Teeple officiating. Memorials in the name of Carol Marie Pigmon may be given to the Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers Hospital Hospice and Home Health Care or to the Williams County Humane Society.
