Daniel J. Payne

Daniel J. Payne, age 55, of West Unity, Ohio, died at 10:52 A.M. on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he was a patient. He was a member of the Montpelier Eagles. Daniel J. Payne was born on May 30, 1954, in Jackson, Michigan, the son of Lloyd and Mildred (Whitney) Payne. He is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Tamara (Wheeler) Payne, a daughter, Amanda Moore, in Texas, two sons, Jacob and Daniel Payne, at home, a sister, Kathy (Joe) Snyder, in Texas, two brothers, Rick Payne, of Bryan, and Jr. (Pam) Payne, in Texas. Also surviving are his father, Lloyd Payne, of Jackson, Michigan, and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Roebuck, and one sister, Cindy Cole. A memorial service celebrating the life of Daniel J. Payne will be held on Friday, May 7, 2010, at 4:00 P.M. in the Living Hope Free Methodist Church in West Unity.
