Michael D. Weiland

Michael Dennis Weiland, age 47, of Rolling Meadows, Illinois died late Sunday afternoon, June 7, 2009, at Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center after battling a long term illness. Michael was born on July 30, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois. He was the son of Harold W. and Lois Ruth (Helisper) Weiland. He worked for Jewel/Osco in Buffulor Grove, Illinois. Mr. Weiland is survived by his mother, Lois R. Weiland, of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, three sisters, caretakers, John and Terri Fruedenberger, of Bryan, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his father, Harold W. Weiland. Mike loved Northern Michigan and embraced the outdoors as an avid snowmobiler and fisherman. He was an expert photographer taking photographs at snowmobile meets and summer grass drag racing competitions.
