F. Marcile Ebaugh

Marcile Ebaugh, 85 years, of Bryan, died on Monday, August 21, 2006, after a brief illness. Mrs. Ebaugh was a graduate of Montpelier High School. She was a cook for Colonial Manor Restaurant and for Harborside Healthcare of Northwest Ohio for many years. She began her working career as a farmer’s wife and milk tester for Williams County. She was a member of Lick Creek Church of the Brethren. Mrs. Ebaugh was involved with 5-H in her younger years. Marcile Ebaugh was born on December 30, 1920, near Montpelier in Williams County, the daughter of Ray and Ruth (Bauer) McCrea. She married Cleland Richard Ebaugh on October 24, 1940, in Stryker, Ohio, and he preceded her in death in January of 1998. Surviving are her sister, Marilyn (Von) Smith, of Berea, Ohio; four daughters, Shirley (Wayne) Smith, of Tiffin, Ohio, Janis (Carl) Davidson, of Bryan, Sharon Lute, of Richland, Washington, and Mary Ann (Zahn) Weidenhamer, of Defiance, Ohio; four sons, Roger (Rose Mary) Ebaugh, of Charlotte, North Carolina, Ron (Mona) Ebaugh, of Kennesaw, Georgia, Gary (Emily) Ebaugh, of Bryan, and Ken Ebaugh, of West Unity, Ohio; grandchildren, Greg (Janeen) Smith, Cindy (Ty) Toncler, Julie (Gregg) Heminger, Randy (Marie) Smith, Noah & Marcia Ebaugh, Nicole & Mackenzie Weidenhamer, Misty (Shane) Smith, Jessica, Bronson & Ashley Ebaugh, and Bradley Ebaugh; stepgrandchildren, Tracy & Terry Davidson; great-grandchildren, Danielle, Breann, Nathan, Elise & Jarod Smith, Reno & Scout Smith, Devan & Sommer Toncler, and Justin & Wesley Heminger. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Ebaugh was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, Wayne Ebaugh, a daughter, Patricia Ebaugh, a sister, Eileen Allomong-Traxler, and a brother, Lowell McCrea. Funeral services for Marcile Ebaugh will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2006, in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with Pastor Randy Short officiating. Interment will be in Brown Cemetery, Bryan. Visitation for Mrs. Ebaugh will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2006, from 2:00-8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorials in the name of Marcile Ebaugh may be given to Lick Creek Church of the Brethren or the Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio, 1545 Holland Road Suite B, Maumee, Ohio 43537.
