Ruth L. Welly

Ruth L. Welly, age 90, of Bryan and formerly a longtime resident of Pioneer, Ohio, died at 7:10 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2006, in Park View Nursing Center in Edgerton, Ohio, where she was a resident. Mrs. Welly was a licensed practical nurse and had worked at Williams County General Hospital in Montpelier, Ohio, for twenty years prior to her retirement. Ruth L. Welly was born on March 17, 1916, in Edgerton, Ohio, the daughter of Alden and Elsie (Richard) Snyder. She married Alfred N. Welly on April 14, 1936, in Edgerton, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on August 2, 1996. Mrs. Welly is survived by one son, Douglas (Linda) Welly, of Bryan, Ohio, three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Robert Snyder, of Cocoa Beach, Florida, and Paul Snyder, of Yuba City, California. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Christina Welly. Grave side services for Ruth L. Welly will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2006, in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Edgerton, Ohio, with Pastor Mark Pitman officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials in the name of Ruth L. Welly may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
