Clell H. Brown

Clell H. “Bud” Brown, age 66, of Montpelier, Ohio, died at 11:20 P.M. on Saturday, June 19, 2010, in his home from complications of cardiac surgery. Mr. Brown was employed by Chase Brass and retired from Edgerton Metals. He served as a Deputy Dog Warden in Williams County for several years and was the Williams County Humane Officer for many years. He also was a member of Living Hope Free United Methodist Church in West Unity and was an avid fisherman and loved to garden. Clell H. “Bud” Brown was born on August 15, 1943, in Grundy, Virginia, the son of Edward and Ruby (Lafferty) Brown. He married Wayva A. Gallant on November 4, 1967, in Edgerton, Ohio, and she survives. He is also survived by his children, Darrell Brown, of Mount Olive, West Virginia, Barbara (Ronnie) Clark, of Waverly, Ohio, Chuck (Mary) Brown, of Montpelier, Chris (Rick) Merillat, of West Unity, and Vickie (Johann) Bostater, of Pioneer, twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, five brothers, Ray (Gloria) Brown, of Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia, Ed Brown, of Pioneer, Boyce (Pansy) Brown, of South Shore, Kentucky, Richard (Sarah) Brown, of Davin, West Virginia, and Mark (Rhoda) Brown, of Mallory, West Virginia, and two sisters, Lois (Joel) Buza, of Wilmington, Illinois, and Darlene (John) Tiller, of Davin, West, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Fred Brown, and three sisters, Jean Wallace, Margie Browning and Glenda “Tuffy” Brown. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Services will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at 1:30 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with Pastor Dave Mathis officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Grove Cemetery, Pioneer, Ohio. Memorials may be given to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers Hospital Hospice or to the family.
