Milford Keezer

Milford "Jack" Keezer went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 13, 2010. Born on February 15, 1923, he passed away after a brief illness. He is survived by wife Mary "Mazie" Keezer; sisters: Jean Schlosser, Mildred (Mick) Hintz, Cory Spencer, Shirley Grant; brother: Robert Kline; daughters and a stepson from a previous marriage: Tylene Underwood, Rhonda Keezer, Roxanne Kackley, and Ronald Hasch. From his current marriage he is survived by stepchildren: Lisa Bennet, Gary Andrews, Reverend Larry Andrews, Terry Andrews, and Rick Andrews. He will be lovingly remembered by all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Guy Keezer, mother Vera (Ball) Kline, a brother "Buddy" who died in infancy, sisters Thelma Maberson and Linda Gorsuch, and one stepson Jerry Saylor from a previous marriage. Jack served in the Army in 1943 and was medically discharged after contracting rheumatic fever. He overcame a limited education and was able to retire after over thirty years in commercial trucking as a driver. A memorial will be at the Butler Church of the Nazarene, 500 Beech Street, Butler, Indiana (260-868-5666) on Thursday, June 17, 2010, with viewing from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; service at 1:30 p.m. Contributions may be made to the family in care of the church. He will be greatly missed by all his family.
