James Blake Stallard, 69 years, of Bryan, and formerly of Findlay and Dayton, Ohio, died Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he had been a patient the past month. James was a self employed truck driver. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, and was dscharged in 1962. He was a member of the Bryan Amvets Post 54 and the Butler Eagles Aerie 2733. James Blake Stallard was born on September 1, 1936 in Pikeville, Kentucky, the son of Walker and Zella (Phipps) Stallard. Surviving is his daughter, Nancy Brady of Boise, Idaho; two sons, Jim Stallard of Boise, Idaho and Randy Stallard of Spokane, Washington; friend, Bonnie Harmon of Bryan and her daughters, Christine Conkle of Kendallville, Indiana, and Julie Kashmer, of Bryan. There will be no visitation or services. Private burial with Military Honors will take place Monday, July 24, 2006 at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
