R. Diane Detter

R. Diane Detter, age 57, of Bryan, Ohio, died on Wednesday, May 26, 2010, in her residence. Mrs. Detter was a housewife and avid seamstress, who enjoyed traveling and birdwatching. R. Diane Detter was born on December 29, 1952, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the daughter of Robert R. and Gloriadell (Perry) Uptgraft. She married Gary Ross Detter on March 23, 1985, in Fort Wayne Indiana, and he preceded her in death on May 26, 2009. Surviving are her parents, Robert and Gloriadell Uptgraft, in Fort Wayne, two sisters, Becky (Dave) Peterson, of Churubusco, Indiana, and Sandy Uptgraft, of Fort Wayne, one brother, Michael (Patty) Uptgraft, also of Fort Wayne, five nieces and nephews and eight great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 2, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Private grave side services will be held at Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan. Memorials in the name of R. Diane Detter may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
