Martha V. “Marty” Trausch, age 56, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 1:47 A.M. on Friday, July 30, 2010, at Parkview Memorial Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she was admitted on Tuesday. She was a graduate of Edgerton High School and was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Germany. Martha was a licensed beautician and graduated from Jackson Community College as a registered nurse. She was employed as a nurse by Community Health Professionals. Her memberships included Bryan AmVets Post #54 and Evening Star Chapter #248, Order of the Eastern Star. Martha V. Trausch was born on September 16, 1953, in Wauseon, Ohio, the daughter of Donald J. and Alice J. (Conkey) Ferrebee. She married Kenneth Trausch on April 29, 1995, in Edgerton, Ohio, and he survives. She is also survived by two sons, Jason Griffith, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Christopher Gant, of Sherwood, Ohio, eleven grandchildren, three stepchildren, Toby Trausch, of Osseo, Michigan, Tina Houtz, of Jackson, Michigan, and Tracey Coffey, of Portage, Michigan, her mother and stepfather, Alice and Robert Evans, of Bryan, two sisters, Caryl Roesti, of Defiance, Ohio, and Ann Burrows, of Edgerton, two brothers, Michael Ferrebee, of Union Beach, New Jersey, and Mark (Donna) Ferrebee, of Edgerton. She was preceded in death by her father, a son, James Browning, a stepson, Tony Trausch, a sister, Barbara Ellen Ferrebee, and a brother, Steve Ferrebee. Visitation for Martha V. “Marty” Trausch will be held on Monday, August 2, 2010, in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, from 3:00-8:00 P.M. An Eastern Star service will be held at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, August 2. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2010, at 10:30 A.M. in the funeral home with Reverend Stephen Schroeder officiating. Military rites will follow, conducted by Bryan VFW Post #2489. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton. Memorials may be given to Community Health Professionals Home Health and Hospice.
