Allen R. Haddix

Haddix, age 82, of Bluffton, Indiana and formerly of Angola, Indiana, died Sunday, September 24, 2006 at the Bluffton Regional Medical Center in Bluffton, Indiana where he was a patient. Mr. Haddix was a Tool and Die Maker and Engineer. He had worked for numerous companies including Garrett Flexible, Mold Service in Butler, Indiana, Thermo-Electronics and the Redmond Company in Angola, Indiana and Franklin Electric in Bluffton, Indiana. He retired as owner of the Aldix Corporation in Edon, Ohio in 1992. Allen R. Haddix was born April 4, 1924 in Edgerton, Ohio the son of Irwin G. and Theresia (Goebel) Haddix. He is survived by two daughters, Barbara Ann (Dan) Woods, of Sacramento, California, Julie Marie (Rodd) Bunch, of Bluffton, Indiana, two sons, James Allen (Becky) Haddix, of Angola, Indiana, Jeffrey Lynn ((Gail) Haddix, of Snoqualmie, Washington, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by five sisters, Sevilla Miller, of Adrian, Michigan, Corda Curtis, of Angola, Indiana, Elsie Stambaugh, of Milton, Florida, Viola Keller, of Edon, Ohio and Grace Redmond,of Pace, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister. Services for Allen R. Haddix will be Friday, September, 29, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Edgerton, Ohio. Visitation will be in the funeral home from 3-5 and 6-8 on Thursday, September 28. Memorials in the name of Allen R. Haddix may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
