Ronald E. Snyder, age 76, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 9:40 P.M. on Saturday, September 4, 2010, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice, Defiance, Ohio, where he was a patient. Mr. Snyder retired from the United States Air Force and had served in Vietnam. He was a lathe operator at Mohawk Tools, retiring with thirteen years of service. He also drove bus for the Bryan City Schools and MRDD, from which he retired for a third time. He was a member of Bryan Eagles Aerie #2233 and Bryan AmVets Post #54. Ronald E. Snyder was born on January 7, 1934, in Bryan, Ohio, the son of Earl and Beulah (Smith) Snyder. He is survived by three sons, Wayne P. (Susan) Snyder, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Earl E. (Brian McLaughlin) Snyder, of Napoleon, Ohio, and Perry S. Snyder, of Lake Orion, Michigan, one daughter, Deborah (Robert) Cooper, of Bryan, Ohio, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Marjorie Carlin and Janet Hall, both of Bryan, and two stepbrothers, Cliff and Mel Wineland, both of Bryan. He was preceded in death by his parents and one great-granddaughter, Kyla Bree Stantz. There will be no visitation. Services and interment will be private. Memorials may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice. Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, is in charge of arrangements.
