Marti J. Roehrs, age 49, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 9:25 P.M. on Thursday, April 8, 2010, at Community Memorial Hospital in Hicksville, Ohio, where she was a patient. She was a 1978 graduate of Edgerton High School and was employed by the Hicksville Bank as vice president of commercial loan lending until her retirement in 2008 after sixteen years of service. She was also a member of Trinity Episcopal Church near Bryan. Marti J. Roehrs was born on May 4, 1960, in Delaware, Ohio, the daughter of Eugene C. and Welma J. (Smith) Miller. She married George L. Roehrs on May 28, 1988, in Lexington, Kentucky, and he survives. Also surviving are two sons, Michael Meyer, of Bryan, Ohio, and Eugene (Heather) Meyer, of Butler, Indiana, three grandchildren, Chawn Calloway, Emma Gene and Braylon Meyer, her father, Eugene Miller, of Edgerton, a half-brother, Brett Ziegler, and a half-sister, Brandi Ziegler, both of Salamon, Washington. She was preceded in death by her mother, Welma Miller, and a brother, John Ziegler. Visitation for Marti J. Roehrs will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2010, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio. Services will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at 11:00 A.M. in the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church near Edgerton with Reverend Chris Sigmon officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton. Memorials may be directed to the family to help with expenses.
