View Video Tribute Jimmie W. Canaday, age 69, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 7:28 p.m. on Thursday, September, 7, 2006, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he was a patient for two weeks. Mr. Canaday was a crib attendant at Bohn Aluminum in Butler, Indiana, retiring with forty-two years of service. He attended the Butler Christian Assembly of God.. Jimmie W. Canaday was born on September 25, 1936, in Wayne, West Virginia, the son of Kyle and Opal (Johnson) Canaday. He married Edna M. Davis on March 4, 1957, in Cattletsburg, West Virginia, and she survives. In addition to his wife, Mr. Canaday is survived by his children, Kyle (Linda) Canaday, of Cromwell, Indiana, Roger Canaday, of Edgerton, Ohio, Kevin (Connie) Canaday, of Bryan, Ohio, and Jackie (Patrick) Ailiff, of Edgerton, Ohio, ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two sisters, Linda Cheek, of Edgerton, Ohio, and June (Kenneth) Fuller, of Ceredo, West Virginia.. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, James Patrick Canaday, and one sister, Norma Stafford. Services for Jimmie W. Canaday will be on Wednesday, September 13, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio, with Pastor Matt Snoderly officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton, Ohio. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton,Ohio, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 12. Memorials in the name of Jimmie W. Canaday may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
