Charles A. Jermeay, age 79, of rural Edon, Ohio, died at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 4, 2010, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he was a patient. Mr. Jermeay retired as a tool and die maker with Metal Spinners in Angola, Indiana, and was a lifelong farmer. Charles A. Jermeay was born on December 28, 1930, in Monroe County, Michigan, the son of William F. and Elsie Ruth (Todd) Jermeay. He married Laura J. “June” Bricker on March 1, 1957, in Hudson, Michigan, and she survives. He is also survived by his children, Christine Boardman, of Pittsford, Michigan, Mary Sue Boren and Dan Jermeay in West Virginia, Katie M. Carper, of Montgomery, Michigan, and Wynee L. Jermeay, of Edon, a stepdaughter, Katherine McGurgan, and several grandchildren, his brothers and sisters, Frankie (Gordon) Robey and Max (Carol) Jermeay, both of West Unity, Ohio, Roger (Aileen) Jermeay and Annie Bethol, both of Hillsdale, Michigan, Bonnie Brehm, of Adrian, Michigan, William T. Jermeay, in Kentucky, and Vivian Yckisa, of Archbold, Ohio. He was preceded in death by two sons, Charles F. and William H., a daughter, Elsie Ruth, one brother and three sisters. Visitation for Charles A. Jermeay will be held on Friday, April 9, 2010, from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home in Edon, Ohio. There will be no service and interment will be private. Memorials may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
