Eugene P. Tutak, 80 years, of Bryan, Ohio, died Monday, September 4, 2006 in his residence after a brief illness. A WWII Navy veteran, Mr. Tutak was employed by Allied Chemical in Toledo for 24 years. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bryan, Ohio, the Bryan V.F.W. Post 2489 and was formerly a member of the Knights of Columbus in Toledo and Swanton, Ohio. Eugene P. Tutak was born on March 16, 1926, in Rossford, Ohio, the son of Peter P. And Louise (Pelcarski) Tutak. He married Theresa M. Stubleski on June 22, 1948 in Toledo, Ohio, and she survives. . In addition to his wife, he is survived by five daughters, Susan (Perry) Graves of Toledo, Ohio, Louise Gambel of Millsboro, Delaware, Patricia (Jim) Mey of St. Charles, Michigan, Karen (Greg) Gunder of Huntertown, Indiana and Pamela Brown of Defiance, Ohio; one son, Peter (Teri) Tutak of Centennial, Colorado; thirteen grandchildren, Stephanie (Bill) Zay, Greg Martin and Michael Martin, Nathan and Nicholas (Mar) Johnson, Edward (Brandi) Nusbaum, Andrea and Rebecca Tutak, Brandon (Nichole) Wlodarski and Jessica Northcutt, Ashley, Heather and Travis Brown; four great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Northcutt, Taylor and Jordan Zay, and Emily Merritt. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Edward Tutak and one sister, Frances Bower. Funeral services for Eugene P. Tutak will be held on Friday, September 8, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bryan, Ohio with Father Charles Ritter, officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2006 in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Scripture services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials in the name of Eugene P. Tutak may be given to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers - Hospice care.
