Barbara J. Impton, age 76, of Stryker, Ohio, died at 1:45 A.M., on Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at Bryan Care and Rehabilitation Center in Bryan, Ohio, where she was a resident. Mrs. Impton was a longtime employee of Allied Molded in Bryan and had previously worked at Campbell Soup and The Aro Corporation. She was a former member of Bryan Eagles Aerie #2233. Barbara J. Impton was born on August 11, 1934, in Hillsdale County, Michigan, the daughter of William and Lila (Evans) Loveless. She married Ray E. Impton on October 20, 1953, in Fremont, Indiana, and he survives. Surviving in addition to her husband, Ray, are one daughter, Kathy (Randy) Bolton, of Bryan, three sons, Mike Impton, of Bryan, James (Cynthia) Impton, of Swanton, Ohio, and Jerry (Barb) Impton, of Montpelier, Ohio, eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, Roy (Monna) Loveless, of Pioneer, Ohio, Jack (Judy) Loveless, of Fremont, Indiana, and William (Linda) Loveless, of Pioneer, and one sister, Viola Henderson, of South Bend, Indiana. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren and two sisters, Lucy Miller and LuAnn Impton. A memorial service for Barbara J. Impton will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2010, at 10:00 A.M. in the Grace Community Church in Bryan, with Pastor Michael Kelly officiating. Interment will be Shiffler Cemetery. Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, is handling arrangements. Memorials may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
