View Video Tribute Charles Robert Orick, age 74, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at early on Thursday, November 2, 2006, at the Dilworth Center in Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Montpelier, Ohio, where he was a patient. Mr. Orick was production operator at Edgerton Metal Products until his retirement in 1994 with thirty-five years of service. Charles Robert Orick was born on June 2, 1932, in Pruden, Tennessee, the son of Elvin and Mary May (Adkins) Orick. He married Carol Jean Farley on May 25, 1973, in Edgerton, Ohio, and she survives. In addition to his wife, Mr. Orick is survived by one son, Gerald (Theresa) Orick, of Edgerton, Ohio, two daughters, Cathy (Bob) Owsley, of Butler, Indiana, and Janet Friedel, of Angola, Indiana, one stepson, Mike Hayes, of Hindman, Kentucky, and two stepdaughters, Angela Keegan, of Edgerton, Ohio, and Karen Mosley, of Hindman, Kentucky, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, six stepgrandchildren, and three stepgreat-grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother, Verlin Orick, of St. Mary’s, Ohio, and four sisters, Pearl Walker, Retha Shell, Judy Beagle and Evelyn Teague all of St. Mary’s, Ohio. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Benjamin Friedel, seven brothers and three sisters. Services for Charles Robert Orick will be on Sunday, November 5, 2006, at 1:30 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio, with Pastor Rose Lewis and Pastor Elmer Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton, Ohio. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton, Ohio, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, November 4. Memorials in the name of Charles Robert Orick may be given to the Dilworth Center of Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Montpelier, Ohio.
