Violet Virginia Wade, age 87, of Edgerton Ohio, died at 1:45 A.M. on Wednesday, May 12, 2010, in her home after an extended illness. Mrs. Wade was employed by Pittsfield Industries in Hamilton, Indiana, retiring with seventeen years of service. She attended the Edgerton Church of Christ. Violet Virginia Wade was born on February 13, 1923, in Morgantown, West Virginia, the daughter of James “Dewey” and Eva (Butcher) Everly. She married Don H. Wade on October 21, 1956, in Monroe, Michigan, and he survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Donna (Jeff) Crozier, of Liberty Center, Ohio, a son, Tommy (Deb) Wade, of Edgerton, three grandsons, Jon and Justin (Nikki) Wade and Luke Crozier, three great-grandchildren, A.J., Carter and Stefanie Wade, two sisters, Betty (Harvey) Walters, of Hudson, Michigan, and Connie Eaton, of Toledo, Ohio, and one brother, James Everly, of Walbridge, Ohio. She was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters. Services for Violet Virginia Wade will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2010, at 1:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio, with D.V. Dillinger, Minister, officiating. Interment will follow in Alton Cemetery near St. Joe, Indiana. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, from 3:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, May 14, 2010. Memorials in the name of Violet Virginia Wade may be given to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers Hospital Hospice or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
