Dale V. Andres

Retired Area Businessman Dale V. Andres, 69 years, of Bryan, Ohio, died on Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at the Dilworth Center at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Montpelier, Ohio. Mr. Andres was an Insurance Representative for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for 25 years, retiring in 1994. He previously worked for Dinner Bell in Archbold, Ohio, and the former Vistron Company in Bryan. He was a member of Union Chapel Church of God, Bryan. Dale V. Andres was born on March 2, 1937, near Stryker, Ohio, the son of Ralph and Leada (Penrod) Andres. He married Loretta A. Steffes on December 6, 1963, in Bryan, Ohio, and she survives. In addition to his wife, Mr. Andres is survived by three sons, Alan (Pam) Andres, of Farmer, Ohio, Jeff (Teal) Andres, of Melbern and Dan (Lexie) Andres of Montpelier, Ohio; five grandchildren, Zac and Amanda Andres, Katie Andres, Kailey Vanscoder and Izabella Andres; three brothers, Robert (Norma) Andres, of Bryan, Don (Gerri) Andres, of Rollo, Missouri, and Tom Andres, of Bryan, Ohio; four sisters, Deloris (Duane) Robertson, of Ridgeville Corners, Ohio, Linda (Gene) Brown, of Sheffield Lake, Ohio, Judy Hire, of Bryan, and Marsha Woolace, of Pulaski. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services for Dale V. Andres will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 7, 2006, in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, with Pastor Dennis Jones officiating. Interment will be in Brown Cemetery, Bryan, Ohio. Visitation for Mr. Andres will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2006, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home. Memorials in the name of Dale V. Andres may be given to Union Chapel Church of God or Living Word Christian School.
