Aloysius “Al” G. Siebenaler, age 81, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 8:17 A.M. on Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice near Defiance, Ohio, where he was a patient. Mr. Siebenaler was employed by the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier in Bryan, retiring with thirty-seven years of service, and then worked at Donaldson’s Ace Hardware for ten years. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bryan and the National Association of Letter Carriers. He was also a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Korea. Aloysius “Al” G. Siebenaler was born on October 17, 1928, in Ashley, Indiana, the son of Raymond and Lydella (Werner) Siebenaler. He married Marguerite M. Haye on October 27, 1956, in Blakeslee, Ohio, and she survives. Also surviving are three sons, Steven L. (Marla) Siebenaler, of Cincinnati, Ohio, Douglas J. Siebenaler, of Mainville, Ohio, and M. Scott (Kelly) Siebenaler, of New Albany, Ohio, two grandchildren, Payton and Michael Siebenaler, of New Albany, and two sisters, Ruth Ann Nofziger, of Montpelier, and Mary Jane Zubik, of San Diego, California. He was preceded in death by an infant sister and a brother, Eugene “Pete” Siebenaler. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2010, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, followed by a scripture service at 8:00 P.M. Services will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bryan with Father James Halleron officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery in Bryan. Memorials in the name of Al Siebenaler may be given to the Hillside Country Living Activity Fund.
