Susan A. Messer

Susan A. Messer, age 58, of Edgerton and formerly of the Columbus, Ohio, area, died early on Sunday, November 5, 2006, in The Defiance Regional Medical Center, where she was a patient. She was a graduate of Columbus North High School and retired as Kitchen Supervisor at Friendship Village in Columbus, Ohio. Susan A. Messer was born on November 17, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Oscar C. and Violet L. (Dorsey) Shaver. She is survived by one daughter, Kelly Ethredge, of Houston, Texas, four grandchildren and two sisters, Marry Rodgers and Patricia Robinson. She was preceded in death by one brother and one son, Kenneth J. Messer. There will be no services or visitation. Service arrangements are being handled by Krill Funeral Service, Edgerton, Ohio.
