Marcella M. Stark

Marcella M. “Sally” Stark, age 90, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 5:45 A.M. on Wednesday, October 6, 2010, in her home. Mrs. Stark was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Rosary Altar Society and John D. Smith Post #10, American Legion Auxiliary. Marcella M. “Sally” Stark was born on April 6, 1920, near Antwerp, Ohio, the daughter of John Augustus and Katherine (Bulach) Hartman. She married Cleo A. Stark on January 4, 1941, in Edgerton, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on December 27, 2000. She is survived by four daughters, Sharon Mesnard, of Edgerton, Dolores "Dee" Krill and Kathy Park, both of Bryan, Ohio, and Marilyn Jeanne (Thore) Nes, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, five sons, LaVon (Mary) Stark of Bryan, Alan (Wilma) Stark, of Howell, Michigan, David (Sharon) Stark, Keith (Shelley) Stark and Douglas (Denise) Stark, all of Edgerton, twenty grandchildren, and twenty-eight great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Mary Catherine Reinhart, of Bryan, Ohio. She was also preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Stark, in 1978, an infant daughter, Rita Catherine, four brothers, Francis, Jerome, Roy and John Hartman, a sister, Clara Marie Jerger, and two sons-in-law, Jon Krill and Richard Mesnard. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2010, from 2:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton. A scripture service will be held on Sunday at 8:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Monday, October 11, 2010, at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary Catholic Church in Edgerton with Father Stephen Schroeder officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Edgerton. Memorials may be given to St. Mary’s School or Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers Hospital Hospice.
