Frederick Ashley Rohrer, age 54, died on Saturday, August 28, 2010, at Greenville Memorial Hospital, Greenville, South Carolina. Mr. Rohrer was employed by Faurecia in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. He was an employee of General Tire in Bryan, retiring with twenty years of service, and also served as a part-time police officer with the Bryan and Edgerton Police Departments and was a former 911 dispatcher. Frederick Ashley Rohrer was born on June 9, 1956, the son of James and Thelma Brock Rohrer. He married Jennifer Lawson on September 27, 2003, and she survives. Also surviving are his parents in Inman, South Carolina; one son, Brock (and wife, Tacha) Rohrer, of Athens, Ohio; one daughter, Carly (and husband, Ben) Sabins, of Bryan, Ohio; six grandchildren, Lauran, Tess, Riley, Noah, Grace and Titus; one brother, William (and wife, Sara) Bradley, of Mobile, Alabama; a sister, Sandy (and husband, Bob) Purdin, of Montgomery, Alabama; and his mother and father-in-law, Larry and Candy Lawson, of Portland, Oregon. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2010, from 2:00-6:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Private grave side services and interment will be held in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan, with Pastor Larry Snavely officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics.
