Cleora Kay Schad

View Video Tribute Cleora Kay Schad, 65 years, of Bryan, died at 11:35 a.m. on Friday, September 15, 2006, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Bryan, Ohio. Mrs. Schad was employed by Spangler Candy Company for 43 years, retiring in April 2004.      Kay Schad was born on October 29, 1940, in West Unity, Ohio, the daughter of Gerald G. and Velma A. (Booream) Finch. She married Seldon W. Schad on January 9, 1960, in Pleasant Lake, Indiana, and he survives.      In addition to her husband, Mrs. Schad is survived by one daughter, Ellen (Wayne) Harp, of Bryan, and one son, Tim Schad, also of Bryan; two sisters, Wilma Adams, of West Unity, and Myrna (Doyle) Wines, of Bryan; four brothers, William G. Stine, Sr., of West Unity, Larry (Mae) Finch, of West Unity, Burton (Sandy) Finch, of West Unity, and Gerald D. (Elsie) Finch, of Afton, Michigan, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Geraldine “Joan” Martin.      Funeral services for Cleora Kay Schad will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19, 2006, in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with Pastor Debbie Kaylor officiating. Interment will follow in Shiffler Cemetery, rural Bryan. Visitation for Mrs. Schad will be held on Monday, September 18, 2006, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.      Memorials in the name of Cleora Kay Schad may be given to Cancer Assistance of Williams County or a charity of the donor’s choice.
