View Video Tribute Michael Tom Elden, age 56, of Edgerton, Ohio, died on Sunday, August 12, 2007, in his home. Mr. Elden was a graduate of Ferris State and was employed by Tomco Plastics in Bryan, Ohio, as operations manager with twenty-five years of service to the company. He was a member of the Edgerton Christian Church and formerly was president of the Edgerton Athletic Boosters, where he was instrumental in the construction of the athletic building and its donation to the Edgerton Local Schools. He was also an avid golfer and sportsman. Michael Tom Elden was born on July 3, 1951, in Midland, Michigan, the son of William Dexter and Elizabeth Ann (Feighner) Elden. He married Kristine Clare Johnson on December 16, 1972, in Manistique, Michigan, and she survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Matthew (Mindy) Elden, of Hilliard, Ohio, and Christian (Elizabeth) Elden, of Anderson, Indiana, one granddaughter, Adelaide, and one sister, Ann Benmark, of Clare, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Jane Robinson. Services for Michael Tom Elden will be on Thursday, August 16, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at Life Changing Realities Church on State Route 6 west of Edgerton with Pastor Steve Wilmot officiating. Interment will be private. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15, and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Memorials in the name of Michael Tom Elden may be given to the Edgerton Christian Church or to the Edgerton Area Foundation.
