One Phonephomhom, age 70, of Bryan, Ohio, died on Friday, August 3, 2007, at 11:45 p.m in his home after a brief illness. Mr. Phonephomhom was a veteran of the Royal Laos Army, from which he retired in 1978 prior to immigrating to the United States. Mr. Phonephomhom was employed by Pepsi-Co Bottling in Bryan and then in Toledo, Ohio, from 1979 - 1990. He then worked for the Bryan Canning Company in Bryan, Ohio, and retired from there. One Phonephomhom was born in Vientiane, Laos, on November 11, 1936, the son of Thone and Phom Phonephomhom. He married Thep Boutakoth in 1957 and she survives. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by six children, Banlang (Vimala) Phonephomhom, of Bryan, Ohio, Tengone (Bounhom) Somphanthabansouk, of Montreal, Canada, Sivi Cye, of Toledo, Ohio, Vay (Guy) Sayapheth, of Akron, Ohio, Sone Phonephomhom (Amanda) Contalee, of Bryan, Ohio, and Sinh (Sy) Xayyachack, of Bryan, Ohio. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a brother, Sungvahn Phonephomhom, in Laos. He was preceded in death by three brothers. Services celebrating the life of One Phonephomhom will be on Saturday, August 11, 2007, from 1:00-3:00 p.m in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, followed by interment in accordance with the Buddhism tradition. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Friday, August 10, 2007, from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
