Susan Marie Heger, age 64, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 5:42 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2007, at her home after an extended illness. Mrs. Heger is a fifty-five year member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses and came to Williams County in 1964 as a missionary to serve with the local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She operated her own cleaning service to support her mission work. She is currently a member of the Montpelier Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was also employed by Wendy’s and had worked at Allied Molded. Susan Marie Heger was born on June 22, 1943, in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of Edwin and Ellen(Savage) Hartl. She married Paul A. Heger on December 19, 1964, in Owosso, Michigan, and he survives. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Heger is survived by two daughters, Mary Ellen Heger and Timra Stephanie Heger, both of Bryan, Ohio, a son, James Andrew Heger, of Montpelier, Ohio, and two grandchildren, Kimberly Lynn Heger and Alan Michael Murrell. She is also survived by two brothers, Thomas (Marcia) Hartl, of Flushing, Michigan, and Theodore (Edie) Hartl, of Saginaw, Michigan, one sister, Mary Ellen (Robert Howard) Swain, of Columbiaville, Michigan, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother, John Edwin Hartl. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Krill Funeral Service, Bryan, Ohio. Memorial services for Susan Marie Heger will be on Saturday, September 15, 2007, at 3:00 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 2937 U.S. Route 24, Antwerp, Ohio, with Eric Whindle officiating. Memorials in the name of Susan Marie Heger may be given to the Montpelier Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses or to Hospice the Caring Way of Williams and Fulton Counties.
