Dale D. Disheaux, Sr., age 80, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 9:40 a.m. on Friday, September 14, 2007, at Harborside Care Center of Northwest Ohio in Bryan, where he was a resident, after an extended illness. Mr. Disheaux was a plumber and employed by Poynter Plumbing and Heating for many years. He was a World War II veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of the Bryan VFW Post #2489, Bryan American Legion #284, Bryan Am-Vets Post #54 and was a lifetime member of Bryan Eagles Aerie #2283. Dale D. Disheaux, Sr. was born on September 23, 1926, in Tiffin Township of Defiance County, Ohio, the son of Roy and Gladys (Speiser) Disheaux. He married Maralee (Joanne) Lang, of September 26, 1947, in Bryan, Ohio, and she survives. In addition to his wife, Mr. Disheaux is survived by two sons, John (Sue) Disheaux, of Defiance, Ohio, and Wayne Murray, of Montpelier, Ohio, four daughters, Jacqueline (John) Johnston, of Jewell, Ohio, Inez Disheaux and Debra Disheaux, both of Bryan, Ohio, and Tanya Murray, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Dale D. Disheaux, Jr., one grandson, Brandon Duncan, one brother, Charles Hissong, and one sister, Evelyn Speck. Services for Dale D. Disheaux, Sr. will be on Tuesday, September 18, 2007, at 1:30 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home at 860 West Mulberry Street in Bryan, Ohio. Visitation will be prior to the service on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Defiance, Ohio, with grave side military rites conducted by Bryan VFW Post #2489. Memorials in the name of Dale D. Disheaux, Sr. may be given to a hospice of the donor’s choice.
