View Video Tribute Steven L. Stickan, age 58, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 8:35 p.m. on Wednesday, September 19, 2007, at the VA Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, after an extended illness. A 1967 graduate of Edgerton High School, Mr. Stickan was a veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1967-1970, which included a tour in Viet Nam. He was a Financial Services Specialist with Bonifas and Associates, Franklin Life and Sky Bank. He was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church, Paralyzed Veterans of America and Am-Vets of Bryan, Ohio, of which he was a life member. Steven L. Stickan was born on May 23, 1949, in Coldwater, Michigan, the son of Christian A. “C.A.” and Mary L. (Calhoon) Stickan. He married Sandra K. Bitler on June 1, 2004, and she preceded him in death on August 15, 2006. Mr. Stickan is survived by one son, Eric C. (Aliza M.) Stickan, of Angola, Indiana, one daughter, Stacy L. Stickan, of Napoleon, Ohio, three grandchildren, Emily N. Stickan, Chance and Dylan Walker, two stepgrandchildren, Alex and Elizabeth Hill, his mother, Mary L. Stickan, of Butler, Indiana, and two brothers, David E. (Beverly) Stickan and Keith (Linda) Stickan, both of Butler, Indiana. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his father, C.A. Stickan, in 1998, and a brother, Kenneth, in 1971. Visitation for Steven L. Stickan will be from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 24, 2007, followed by services at 1:30 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton, Ohio with Reverend Saneta Maiko officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Edgerton, Ohio, with grave side military rites conducted by Am-Vets of Bryan, Ohio. Memorials in the name of Steven L. Stickan may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
