View Video Tribute Wyona Marseille Beals, 85 years, of Bryan, died at 12:50 p.m., Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Mrs. Beals was a teller at First National Bank in Bryan for 45 years. She was a member of the First Church of Christ in Bryan. Wyona Marseille Beals was born on August 5, 1921, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Hal C. and Agnetta (Pollock) Spire. She married Ralph Puhl in 1937, and that marriage ended in 1946. She then married Paul Robert Butler in 1948, and he tragically died three months later in an automobile accident. Marseille then married former Bryan Police Chief, Frank Beals, Jr., on September 2, 1950 in Bryan, and he preceded her in death on January 23, 2006. Surviving are her two daughters, Terry (Puhl) McBroom of Indian Rocks Beach, Florida and Debbie (Rock) Dunlap of Conyers, Georgia; grandchildren, Cheri (Andy) Matyk of Indian Rocks Beach, Fl., Mark (Mary) McBroom of Seminole, FL., Kristy McBroom of Zanesville, OH., Rocky (Maria) Dunlap of Atlanta, GA., and Rochelle Dunlap of Conyers, GA.; great-grandchildren, Taylor McBroom, Connor, Madison and Grant McBroom, Andrew and Amanda Matyk. Three sisters, Donna Sauder of Archbold, Marge Schlosser of Bryan, Ohio and Joyce (Jim) Waterston of Pioneer, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Paul Robert Butler and Frank Beals, Jr., grandson, Steven McBroom and son-in-law, C. Richard McBroom and one brother, Joe Spire. Funeral Services for Wyona Marseille Beals will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 20, 2007 at the First Church of Christ, 129 North Walnut Street, Bryan, Ohio with Pastor Larry Snavely, officiating. Interment will follow in Shiffler Cemetery, rural Bryan. Visitation for Mrs. Beals will be held on Friday, January 19, 2007 from 5 - 8 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio and also one hour prior to services on Saturday in the church.
