Martin L. Zulch, age 62, of rural Edon, Ohio, died at 6:25 a.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2006, in his home after an illness of two months. Mr. Zulch was an automotive mechanic and worked for Moore’s Garage in Columbia, Ohio, from 1969 - 1992 when he took over operation of the business. He had formerly served as a township trustee in Northwest township with twelve years of service. He was a 1961 graduate of Edon High School. Martin L. Zulch was born November 10, 1943, near Montpelier, Ohio, the son of Lowell and Ruth Luella (Fifer) Zulch. He married Dianne S. Hickman on June 8, 1963 in Angola, Indiana and she survives. In addition to his wife, Dianne, Mr. Zulch is survived by one daughter, Kelly (Mike) Fraley, of Montpelier, Ohio, one son, Terry (Gena) Zulch, of Edon, Ohio, six grandchildren, Krista, Kara, Tyler, and Evan Fraley and Mitchell and Adam Zulch. He is also survived by three sisters, Carolyn (Martell) Burrell, of Alderson, West Virginia, Helen (Kenneth) Bell, of Stryker, Ohio and Martha Dixon, of Richmond, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Marshall, Zulch. Services for Martin L. Zulch will be Saturday, September 23, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon ,Ohio with Pastor Steve Hoffman officiating. Burial will follow in Billingstown Cemetery near Columbia, Ohio. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home in Edon, Ohio from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, September 22. Memorials in the name of Martin L. Zulch may given to Hospice Care of Williams and Fulton Counties or to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
