View Video Tribute Jane C. Zimmerman, 93 years, of Bryan, died at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2006, at University Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio, where she had been a patient one day. Jane was a graduate of Bryan High School. She began her working career as a teller at First National Bank in Bryan. She also worked at the former Lindsay Auto Sales as a bookkeeper for 15 years. She also was employed by The Aro Corporation as a clerk in the Cost Department when she retired. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bryan, where she formerly served as a Sunday School teacher, Deacon and Elder. She was also active in the Women’s Group at church. She was a charter member of the Literary Forum in Bryan. Jane C. Zimmerman was born on December 3, 1912, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Ernest E. and Tasy (Kline) Culbertson. She married Wallace R. Zimmerman on April 7, 1934, in Bryan, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on July 21, 1979. Surviving are her niece, Susan (John) Martin of Bryan; two nephews, Jon (Deborah) Butler of Presque Isle, Michigan, and Dr. Paul (Jennifer) Butler of Okemos, Michigan; great-nephews, David (Lisa) Martin, Scott Martin, Matthew (Samantha) Martin, Joseph (Kali) Smith and Kevin Butler; great-nieces, Lisa (Kyle) Cleland, Kristin Butler and Kara Butler; great-great-niece, Isabelle Martin, and great-great-nephew, Wyatt Smith; and brother-in-law, Donald Butler. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, Margaret Butler, her adopted brother, Dr. Foster Kline, and one nephew, Donald Butler, Jr. Funeral services for Jane C. Zimmerman will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 8, 2006, in the First Presbyterian Church, 506 Oxford Drive, Bryan, with Pastor Rob Marrow officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan, Ohio. Visitation for Mrs. Zimmerman will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2006, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home. Visitation will also be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Friday in the church. Memorials in the name of Jane C. Zimmerman may be given to First Presbyterian Church, Bryan, Ohio.
