Bettie Jane Buell

Bettie Jane (Myers) Buell, age 84, of rural Hamilton, Indiana, died at 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at Evergreen Manor Nursing Center in Montpelier, Ohio, where she was a resident. Mrs Buell was a homemaker and worked alongside her husband on the family farm during their married life. Bettie Jane (Myers) Buell was born on January 22, 1923, in Garrett, Indiana, the daughter of Homer Alty and Erma Jewell (Ray) Myers. She married Forrest F. Buell on July 30, 1943, in Garrett, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on March 5, 1998. Mrs. Buell is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dannie (Christine) Weinhold, of Auburn, Indiana, and Ms. Catherine Gibson of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, one son, Elson (Rhonda) Buell, of Edon, Ohio, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Ray Myers, and one sister, Ruby Jean Word. Services for Bettie Jane (Myers) Buell will be on Sunday, September 30, 2007, at 2:00 p.m in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon, Ohio, with Pastor Eric Dailey officiating. Interment will follow in Edon Cemetery, Edon, Ohio. Visitation will be in the funeral home two hours prior to the service, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Memorials in the name of Bettie Jane (Myers) Buell may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
