View Video Tribute Kenneth D. Jennings, age 84, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 2:30 a.m. on Monday, June 18, 2007, in his home after an extended illness. Mr. Jennings was a 1940 graduate of Butler High School. He was a farmer and owned and operated Lindsey Water Softening from 1969 until his retirement. He was a member of the Do-It-Right Farm Bureau Council for more than 50 years and a member of Big Run Church, Butler, Indiana. Kenneth D. Jennings was born on October 11, 1922, near Butler, Indiana, the son of Russell L. and Ruby H. (Platt) Jennings. He married Phyllis Souder on December 25, 1945, at Zion Church near Hamilton, Indiana, and she survives. In addition to his wife, Mr. Jennings is survived by his children, Greg (Janet) Jennings, of Edgerton, Ohio, Steve (Barb) Jennings, of Edgerton, Ohio, Gary (JoAnn) Jennings, of Morganton, North Carolina, Kay Lane, of El Cajon, California, Mark (Cindy) Jennings, of Butler, Indiana, and Holly Donaldson, of Auburn, Indiana, fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three sisters, Maxine Sanders, of Edgerton, Ohio, Wilma Armstrong, of Butler, Indiana, and Margaret Sanders, of Edgerton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy, in 1965, a son, Jeff, in 1980, two brothers, Richard and Paul Jennings, and a sister, Evelyn Gift. Services for Kenneth D. Jennings will be on Thursday, June 21, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. in Big Run Church, near Butler, Indiana. Interment will follow in Farnham Cemetery near Edgerton, Ohio. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton, Ohio, from 4-8 p.m on Tuesday, June 19, and after 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20. Memorials in the name of Kenneth D. Jennings may be given to Big Run Church, The Parkinsons Foundation, or to Cancer Assistance of Williams County.
