Joseph LaMar Stanley

Joseph LaMar Stanley, age 64, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 4:35 p.m. on Wednesday, October 3, 2007, at Harborside Healthcare of Northwest Ohio in Bryan, Ohio, where he was a resident, after an extended illness. Mr. Stanley was employed by Ohio Art Company as a building maintenance man and retired with twenty-four years of service. Joseph LaMar Stanley was born on October 7, 1942, in Hillsdale, Michigan, the son of LaMar Cecil and Josephine Ruth (Thompson) Stanley. He married Marjorie S. Schantz on May 6, 1961, and she preceded him in death in 2001. Mr. Stanley is survived by one son, Joseph LaMar (Corrine) Stanley, Jr., of Hudson, Michigan, two grandchildren, Sabrina Stanley, of Hudson, Michigan, and Michael Stanley, of Stryker, Ohio, and two sisters, Judy Schaefer, of Dillsboro, Indiana, and Jane Londerville, of Versailles, Indiana. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Nancy Lou Stanley and Joyce Ann Mulvey. There will be no visitation or services for Mr. Stanley. Interment will be private. Memorials may be given to a charity of donor’s choice.
